We have been providing web hosting services for many years, and email has usually been bundled with it at no additional cost. However as it uses open source software and shares the same hosting IP as the website, it is not able to be be as robust and reliable as the services that dedicated email providers now provide. Over the years many clients have chosen to connect a dedicated email service to their hosting account with us, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365 or Zoho Mail, which offers a far more robust email solution than shared hosting service ever will. Even though email has been bundled at no extra cost, the support time required to support it has been very costly and it is no longer cost effective to provide support for it. The alternative would be to increase our prices substantially to cover this which would make our hosting pricing too high. As a result we will no longer be offering any support for the bundled email service that is included with our hosting plans. You can however continue to use it as normal, but it is provided 'as is'. Many hosting providers and ISPs now no longer offer email or are in the process of phasing it out, as there are better dedicated email solutions out there that you can connect your hosting account to. Although you can continue to use it, we would recommend that you setup email with a dedicated email provider. Most of our clients do already use a dedicated email provider, but there are still a small number that do use the bundled email service. You can point your domain email to your dedicated email provider from inside your hosting account. You will still need your hosting account if you do this, as it is still hosting our domains services. You will just be pointing your email to a dedicated provider.
