Orcon Hosted Windows Web Hosting Ending - 12th November 2014

This is a notice for websites connected to the old Orcon Windows web hosting platforms which have now reached end of life (EOL). From the 12th November 2014, Orcon (iServe) Windows websites will no longer have internet access for security reasons. FTP access to these servers will still be accessible until 20th January 2014. All websites on this platform should have already been migrated over to the Linux Platform. All clients who have their domains and DNS hosted by us will have automatically been switched to the Linux Servers, so your website should be unaffected by this. If you happen to host your domain away from our servers, and you use a third party DNS provider, then your website may stop working after this date. As we don't manage the DNS for those domains we don't know who is affected, if anyone, nor are we able to change the settings for you. Lots of New Top Level Domain Name Extensions Released

Our clients are now able to register a whole new range of recently released Top Level Domain Name Extensions. Gone are the restrictions of .co.nz, .com, .net etc at the end of your domain. You can now register new domains such as .builder, .kiwi, .bike or .me ! Most of these new domain names are ‘Premium’ Domain names. So they may cost slightly more than our standard domains like .nz or .com. If you want to register one of these new Premium Domain Names, you can do this today via our easy to use .NZ Domain Manager system at www.domains.loungenetwork.co.nz . The best domains are being snapped up, as it is first come,  first served. So you should register you preferred domain name as soon as you can, to avoid someone else registering it. .NZ Domains 30 Day expiry for UDAIs

  .NZ Domain Registrants should know that UDAIs (Unique Domain Authorisation ID) for all .NZ domains now expire after 30 days after they have last been generated. .NZ Domain Registrants should know that UDAIs (Unique Domain Authorisation ID) for all .NZ domains now expire after 30 days after they have last been generated. If you have previously saved your UDAI and it is older than 30 days, it will now be invalid.
